Based on Bukatiende/Mukatiende mbira parts taught to the instructor by Ambuya Bealuer Dyoko and Cosmas Magaya, Goremupindu ("Year of Changes") is an exciting and inspiring marimba arrangement by McIntosh. Pace of class and depth of coverage of the song will be determined by the experience and abilities of the students; the full piece is quite a large body of work! Students will automatically be registered for workshop sessions #3 and #6.
