Learn the basics of hosho rhythms including tsaba, muchangoyo, shangara and mbira. Our goal is to study how to relate to and become comfortable with these special gourds and let them play you. Your marimba playing will be enhanced as you explore the role of this unique instrument in the ensemble experience. This workshop is for anyone who wants to develop more confidence, technique/style, and the joy of playing with any song.
