Nyama musango ("Meat in the forest") is a traditional Shona mbira piece played in ceremonies. You will learn an easy basic version.

Student Materials

If you have a nyamaropa tuning mbira that is MBIRA workshop pitch (B), bring it. Mbiras will be provided. Grow out your thumbnails and right forefingernail, and/or by a set of picks at http://mbira.org/catalog.asp?cat=mbira-accessories (item 5000 or 5001) - to avoid sore thumbs.
