From Midlands: Julia will teach traditional dances handed down by her mother and father and carried on by her sisters and brothers. Students will be immersed in Zimbabwean dance, music and drumming and I will explain the costumes, tribal rituals and language (Shona). I will explain the meaning and background of the dance movements and the other aspects of the dances.
