This workshop will introduce students to the mbakumba drumming rhythm, which can be used to accompany Chamutengure. Students will learn a basic drumming part, as well as several lead variations, a clapping pattern, and a basic dance step. Finally, we will link the drumming, clapping, and dance with Chamutengure on marimba and mbira.
