After Nhemamusasa, a "must-know" for any serious Zimbabwean music enthusiast. This version of Taireva was inspired by the mbira and the instructor's study of the song over the last ten years with many different Zimbabwean teachers. Like other McIntosh marimba arrangements of mbira songs, Taireva stretches even the most competent marimba players with challenging parts, complex arrangement and syncopated breaks. Students will automatically be registered for workshop sessions #1 and #4.
