Zimfest 2010 will be held on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. Corvallis is located approximately 20 minutes off of I-5 in northwestern Oregon, 1.5 hours to the south of Portland, OR, and 1 hour north of Eugene, OR. Flights are available to Portland International Airport (PDX), and Mahlon Sweet Airport (EUG) in Eugene. Generally, flights are less expensive, and more frequent to and from Portland International Airport.
Zimfest will be centered in the McNary housing complex on the eastern side of the OSU campus. Housing will be provided in Callahan and Wilson Hall, and meals will be served in the McNary Dining Center located immediately adjacent to those buildings. Many workshops will be taught inside of Callahan and McNary Hall, and the remainder will be taught in buildings on campus within a 5 minute walk of "Zimfest central."
Afternoon concerts, and the marketplace will be located in the field across the street to the north of Zimfest central. Evening concerts will occur in the LaSells Stewart Center, on the south end of campus, located 10-15 walking-minutes through campus from Zimfest central.
A number of alternate dining options are available 5-10 walking-minutes away (north of campus), and downtown Corvallis is located 15 walking-minutes to the east. Alternative housing options are located within 5-10 driving-minutes from campus.
The Zimfest Village will be located in the McNary housing complex on the eastern side of the OSU campus. Housing will be provided in Callahan and Wilson Hall. Wilson Hall is the “quiet dorm” for this year’s festival. Meals will be served in the McNary Dining Center located adjacent to those buildings. Most workshops will be held in Callahan and Wilson Hall, while the remainder will be located within a 5-minute walk of the Zimfest Village.
